Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Adoptly, you agree to these terms. Adoptly is operated in India and is meant for people looking to adopt, foster, or rehome pets — not for commercial animal trading.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a listing or contact another user. You are responsible for keeping your phone number and account secure, and for everything posted from your account.
Listings must be honest
Only post animals you or the shelter you represent can actually rehome. Photos and descriptions must be accurate and recent. Do not list animals for sale, breeding, fighting, or any purpose that is illegal under Indian law, including the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
Community conduct
Be respectful in comments and messages. We do not tolerate harassment, spam, hate speech, or scams. Reported content is reviewed and may be removed; repeat or severe violations lead to account suspension.
Content you share
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, and text you upload. By posting, you grant Adoptly a licence to display that content within the app so other users can find and contact you about a listing.
Safety
Adoptly connects people directly — we are not a party to any adoption, payment, or agreement made between users. Meet in safe, public places when possible and use good judgement before handing over or receiving an animal.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use of Adoptly after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent to the email in Help & Support.
